According to Italian people, adding a splash of olive oil to the water when you cook the pasta, does not contribute anything good.

TIP 4: DON’T EAT BREAD WITH PASTA

It is a question of nutrition, carbohydrates don’t go with carbohydrates. Italian people says that eating bread with pasta is a big mistake.

TIP 5: DO NOT OFFER PASTA AS AN ACCOMPANIMENT OR GARRISON

Neither the pasta or the risotto must be eated as accompaniment for Italian people. Except in recipes such as meat “a la milanesa”. Pasta and rice are taken in Italy as the main dish and is something that, moreover, is mandatory if we do not want that our consumption of calories is triggered.
